Thanksgiving Posting

There is so much for us to be thankful for, even in the midst of problems. I'm very thankful for my health, for my safety, for my family and friends' health and safety, for our freedoms, for the many modern advances that help us to live longer, stronger, and happier.

I'd like to take a moment to thank those serving in our armed forces, especially those who are spending this holiday away from our family. Recently a friend told me about a wonderful website that can help all of us thank soldiers: www.LetsSayThanks.com. When you go there, you can select a card, designed by a child, to be sent to a random soldier serving in Iraq. Xerox will print and mail the cards at the end of each month. This is a wonderful way to express our gratitude for our soldiers' labors.
