Freedom of the Press

I, along with many others in our nation, rejoice that the two journalists jailed in North Korea are now free. I think that their harrowing experience is a sobering reminder to us all of the stark differences between freedom and tyranny. All of our people rejoice that the journalist's unjust captivity was ended, and that this evil perpetrated by the North Korean government was not allowed to continue. It is my ardent hope that not only will the United States remain a land of freedom, but that freedom may come to North Korea and its people as well. Then all the other captives still in their jails and concentration camps will get to experience the same joyous reunion with their family as did the journalists so recently freed.
