Independence Day
A new year begins today. Perhaps you’re very conscious of the fact that problems from the old year are still spilling over into this year. Whatever those problems are, whether political, or personal, or neither, or both, why don’t we try something new this year? Let’s all try to leave those problems in God’s hands, then work with Him and each other to solve them. I expect there will still be disagreements, probably even serious ones, so I don’t mean to suggest that disagreements or problems themselves will cease to exist. I’m suggesting that expecting God to solve problems, and doing our part by working on them in His ways, we can at least do better. Not that I expect all of the problems to be solved, but we can at least agree that we need better. Happy New Year!
