Memorial Day
When we consider the sacrifices people have made for freedom, especially those who have died for their country, it’s easy to feel inadequate to the task of continuing what they sacrificed for. Clearly, however, that is what we must do. They did their duty so we could do ours. Our honored dead sacrificed so that we could enjoy freedom of religion, of speech, of assembly, and many others, so let us be sure to enjoy them, and to do our part to keep them strong for those who come after us.
Let us remember those who have died for our country, and pray for those they left behind, on this Memorial Day.
